The effects of administration of nonselective inhibitor of NO-synthase under X-ray radiation

Total activity of NO-synthetase and content of nitrates and nitrites in immunocompetent cells of rat peripheral blood under the influence of fraction x-ray radiation and peroral administration of L-NAME were studied. It was shown that administration of L-NAME leads to inhibition of nitric oxide cytotoxic effect by reducing itproduction under the influence of low doses of x-ray radiation.
