New apricot cultivar ´Etela´ originated from self-pollination of cultivar ´Harogem´ that has been realized RBIP Holovousy in 1996. This cultivar is registered for growing in the Czech Republic since 2021. It is self-compatible and precocious cultivar. Trees grow rather vigorously, has upright to spreading habitus and medium bearing. Fruits are attractive, medium size with smooth surface, of high quality and very good taste. The cultivar has generally good health condition, it is only slightly sensitive to apricot scab. This cultivar is recommended for the use in marginal regions of apricot growing.
