A new species of fesh fies (Diptera: Sarcophagidae) from Southern Vietnam

The fauna of gray blowfies in Vietnam has not yet been fully studied, especially in its southern part. In spring of 2019, in the Cat Tien National Park (Southern Vietnam) a new species of the genus Liosarcophaga Enderlein, 1928 was collected on yellow plates. This article describes a new species of gray blowfy Liosarcophaga barkalovi sp. n. from the family Sarcophagidae. The new species is clearly distinguished from other species of the genus by by its fat and wide lateral processes of the apical part of the distiphallus and the the peculiar shape membranous processes not known in others.
