Contribution to the knowledge of the little-known longicorn beetles species – Phytoecia (Opsilia) prasina Reitter, 1911 (Coleoptera: Cerambycidae)

Data on a very rare longicorn beetles species, Phytoecia (Opsilia) prasina Reitter, 1911, currently known upon a holotype descending from the Iranian province Luristan, and a small number of specimens from the Caucasus only, are given. The brief history of its study is presented. Its characteristic morphological features, accompanied by color illustrations, are specified, male being described for the first time. Distribution map of the species in question in the Caucasus is given. A new subspecies Ph. (O.) prasina kotaika subsp. n. from Armenia is described.
