The article presents the results of an analysis of trends in the global food market and food industry, identifying factors that are significant for the sustainable development of the national agri-food complex. The main production and economic indicators of the food industry of the Republic of Belarus are reflected. The directions are outlined, the implementation of which will ensure the achievement of the target criteria provided for in the Doctrine of National Food Security of the Republic of Belarus until 2030, including the implementation of innovative strategies for the development of industries and enterprises, strengthening of its own raw material base, the creation of new competitive industries and the development of the domestic “Healthy Nutrition Industry”. / В статье представлены результаты анализа тенденций мирового рынка продовольствия и пищевой промышленности, выявлены факторы, значимые для устойчивого развития национального агропродовольственного комплекса. Отражены основные производственно-экономические показатели пищевой промышленности Республики Беларусь. Обозначены направления, реализация которых позволит обеспечить достижение целевых критериев, предусмотренных в Доктрине национальной продовольственной безопасности Республики Беларусь до 2030 года, включая реализацию инновационных стратегий развития отраслей и предприятий, укрепление собственной сырьевой базы, создание новых конкурентных производств и развития отечественной «Индустрии здорового питания».
