The article describes the state of the beet harvesting equipment fleet in the Republic of Belarus and discusses promising developments of domestic harvesting complexes. When choosing the type of harvesting equipment, it is necessary to be guided by the size of the areas of beet-growing organizations and their shares in the overall structure of areas. Domestic developers should present a line of harvesting equipment, including both self-propelled ones, developed in cooperation with foreign companies, and trailed harvesting machines. The advantage of using trailed harvesting equipment on farms with a cultivation area of up to 300 hectares is a more complete load of energy throughout the year, while self-propelled equipment works for a maximum of two months a year, and the rest of the time is idle. / В статье описано состояние парка свеклоуборочной техники в Республике Беларусь, рассмотрены перспективные разработки отечественных уборочных комплексов. При выборе типа уборочной техники необходимо руководствоваться размерами площадей свеклосеющих организаций и их долей в общей структуре площадей. Отечественными разработчиками должна быть представлена линейка уборочной техники, включающая как самоходные, разработанные в кооперации с зарубежными компаниями, так и прицепные уборочные машины. Достоинством применения прицепной уборочной техники в хозяйствах с площадью возделывания до 300 га является более полная загрузка энергосредства в течение всего года, в то время как самоходная техника работает максимум два месяца в году, а остальное время простаивает.
