A long-term comprehensive study of collection samples of raspberries (Rubus) of the remontant type of fruiting of Russian and foreign selection, collected at the Crimean OSS – a branch of VIR, made it possible to identify the most optimal ones of them for cultivation in the south of Russia and inclusion in breeding work to create high-tech varieties. As a result of breeding work, a new variety of Raspberry Nika was obtained, which has an optimal set of economically valuable traits for cultivation in the southern berry growing zone of Russia. Based on many years of variety research and production variety testing, a selected elite seedling of remontant raspberries under the number 03-09-01 with the name Nika was submitted to state variety testing in 2021 with a recommendation for cultivation in the North Caucasus region of Russia. / Многолетнее комплексное изучение коллекционных образцов малины (Rubus) ремонтантного типа плодоношения российской и зарубежной селекции, собранных на Крымской ОСС – филиале ВИР, позволило выявить наиболее оптимальные из них для выращивания на юге России и включения в селекционные работы по созданию высокотехнологичных сортов. В результате селекционной работы получен новый сорт Малины Ника, имеющий оптимальный комплекс хозяйственно ценных признаков для выращивания в южной зоне ягодоводства России. На основании многолетнего сортоизучения и производственного сортоиспытания выделенный элитный сеянец ремонтантной малины под номером 03-09-01 с названием Ника передан в государственное сортоиспытание в 2021 г. с рекомендацией для выращивания в Северо-Кавказском регионе России.
