The article studies the characteristics of the growth and development indicators of new forms of cherries (Prunus subg. Cerasus) and sweet cherries (Prunus avium) in the mother-cuttings garden. The research was carried out in the nursery department of Republican Scientific and Production Subsidiary Unitary Enterprise "The Institute for Fruit Growing". Differences were established between 18 new rootstocks in terms of growth and development in the mother liquor: maximum shoot length – 30.8-83.2 cm; shoot diameter – 3.3-8.9 mm; shoot-forming ability – 32-72 pcs/bush; degree of branching (1.0-3.0 points). The rootstock AIR was isolated, characterized by the absence of lateral branching, high shoot-forming ability (65 pcs/bush), intensive growth (shoot length 74.7 cm) and shoot diameter (6.4 mm). / Цель исследований – изучить особенности показателей роста и развития новых форм вишни (Prunus subg. Cerasus) и черешни (Prunus avium) в маточно-черенковом саду. Исследования проводили в отделе питомниководства РУП «Институт плодоводства». Установлены различия между 18 новыми подвоями по показателям роста и развития в маточнике: максимальная длина побегов – 30,8-83,2 см; диметр побега – 3,3-8,9 мм; побегообразовательная способность – 32-72 шт/куст; степень ветвления (1,0-3,0 балла). Выделен подвой АИР, характеризующийся отсутствием бокового ветвления, высокой побегообразовательной способностью (65 шт/куст), интенсивным ростом (длина побегов 74,7 см) и диаметром побегом (6,4 мм).
