The results of a study of bone morphogenetic protein 15 (BMP-15) polymorphism in Romanov breed ewes and rams are presented. The highest frequency of occurrence of W allele was observed in ewes (0.6), the M allele in rams (0.55). It was noted that there were no individuals with the MM genotype in ewes, and WW in rams. In the population of Romanov sheep in Western Siberia, polymorphism was discovered at the BMP-15 locus, which is found in a number of foreign sheep. The absence of genotypes WW in rams and MM in ewes may be due to the small sample size. In the future, the number of animals studied will be increased and the relationship of these genotypes with biochemical and hematological parameters will be examined. / Представлены результаты исследования полиморфизма костного морфогенетического белка 15 (BMP-15) у овцематок и баранчиков романовской породы. Наибольшая частота встречаемости аллеля W наблюдалась у овцематок (0,6) и аллеля M у баранчиков (0,55). Отмечено, что у овцематок отсутствовали особи с генотипом MM, а у баранчиков WW. В популяции романовских овец Западной Сибири был обнаружен полиморфизм по локусу BMP-15, который встречается у ряда зарубежных. Отсутствие генотипов WW у баранчиков и MM у овцематок может быть связано с небольшим размером выборки. В дальнейшем будет увеличено количество исследуемых животных и рассмотрена связь данных генотипов с биохимическими и гематологическими показателями.
