Notes on the identification and distribution of Leptura auratopilosa (Matsushita, 1931) and Leptura aurosericans Fairmaire, 1895 (Coleoptera: Cerambycidae: Lepturinae: Lepturini)

Based on the examination of types and a series of specimens from Guangxi, including a lot of naturally mating pairs, we redescribed Leptura auratopilosa (Matsushita, 1931) and Leptura aurosericans Fairmaire, 1895; provided distinguishing characters and corrected the misidentification of the two species; and concluded that L. aurosericans 15 widely distributed in Southern China, Viemam, Laos and Thailand, but L. auratopilosa is endemic to Taiwan.
