Investigation of the floral biodiversity of a meadow in the Republic of Adygea | Исследование флористического биоразнообразия луга Республики Адыгея

English. The research was conducted as part of a joint project "Apothecary Garden" of the Faculty of Agricultural Technologies and the Pharmaceutical Faculty. The research object was phytocenosis of a continental dry meadow located on a foothill gently undulating plain to the north of Maikop city. The research purpose is to study the species composition of the meadow community and identify medicinal plant species. 24 sites, 1x1 meter in size, were randomly laid out in the meadow. The herb layer was described, the number of plant species was determined and counted. The meadow had not experienced anthropogenic interference for the past five years; the height of the herb stand was from 30 to 130 cm. The flora included 44 higher plant species belonging to 16 families, 2 classes, and 1 division. 70% of the species are of Magnoliopsida class; the Asteraceae and Rosaceae families predominated. The Poaceae family of the Liliopsida class was multi-species and dominant. Life forms were assessed according to Raunkiær method and revealed 56.8% of hemicryptophytes, 25.1% of therophytes, 13.6% of cryptophytes, 4.5% of phanerophytes. The meadow also consisted of mesophytes (79.5%), the group of xeromesophytes, xerophytes and mesoxerophytes made up 15.9%, that of hygromesophytes – 4.6%. Most of the plants were taprooted (36.4%), short-rhizome made up 22.7%, long-rhizome – 20.4%, loose-sod – 11.4%. The bulk of the vegetation was meadow (47.7%), weed-meadow (13.6%), weedy (20.4%), meadow-forest (6.8%), forest (4.5%), forest edge (2.3%) and meadow-steppe (2.3%). Medicinal plants included in the State Pharmacopoeia of the 15th edition were identified in the meadow – these were motherwort five-lobed and common yarrow. It has been determined that by the number of species in plant families, the meadow corresponds to the flora of the Holarctic floral kingdom. The predominance of rhizomes and the appearance of densely turf plants indicate a late stage of maturity of the meadow. The high proportion of weed vegetation reflects the anthropogenic load, due to the location of the meadow near the village. Medicinal plants grow in the meadow naturally, which makes it possible to cultivate them in this area.

Russian. Исследование проводилось в рамках совместного проекта факультета аграрных технологий и фармацевтического факультета "Аптекарский огород". Исследуемый объект – фитоценоз материкового суходольного луга, расположенного на предгорной слабоволнистой равнине к северу от г. Майкопа. Цель работы - изучить видовой состав лугового сообщества, идентифицировать лекарственные виды растений. На лугу рандомно закладывали 24 площадки, размером 1х1 метр. Описывали травяной ярус, определяли и считали количество видов растений. Луг последние пять лет антропогенного вмешательства не испытывает, высота травостоя от 30 до 130 см. Флора включает 44 вида высших растений из 16 семейств, 2 классов, 1 отдела. К классу Magnoliopsida принадлежит 70% видов, преобладают семейства Asteraceae и Rosaceae. Многовидовым, доминантом является семейство Poaceae класса Liliopsida. Оценка жизненных форм по Раункиеру: гемикриптофитов 56,8%, терофитов 25,1%, криптофитов 13,6%, фанерофитов 4,5%. Также луг состоит из мезофитов 79,5%, группа ксеромезофитов, ксерофитов и мезоксерофитов составляет 15,9%, гигромезофиты - 4,6%. Большинство растений стержнекорневые 36,4%, короткокорневищные 22,7%, длиннокорневищные 20,4%, рыхлодерновинные 11,4%. Основная масса растительности луговая 47,7%, сорно-луговая 13,6%, сорная 20,4%, лугово-лесная 6,8%, лесная 4,5%, опушечно-лесная и лугово-степная по 2,3%. На лугу идентифицировали лекарственные растения, входящие в государственную фармакопею 15 издания – это пустырник пятилопастной и тысячелистник обыкновенный. Определили, что по количеству видов в семействах растений, луг соответствует флоре Голарктического флористического царства. Преобладание корневищных и появление плотнодерновинных растений говорит о поздней стадии зрелости луга. Высокая доля сорной растительности отражает антропогенную нагрузку, это расположение луга возле поселка. На лугу произрастают лекарственные растения, что дает возможность культивировать их в данной местности.
