English. Winter sowing can be considered as one of the reserves for increasing grain production in Siberia. According to scientists and with long-term production practice, it has been established that winter wheat varieties sown on August 20-25 in the forest-steppe zone of the Tyumen region overwinter poorly for many years. Therefore, the research has been conducted on the experimental field of the State Agrarian University of the Northern Trans-Urals in 2019-2022. The effect of winter sowing on the yield and grain quality in winter wheats 'Moskovskaya 39', 'Grom', 'Rostovchanka' has been under study. The winter wheat 'Omsk 3' of Siberian breeding is taken as the standard variety. Sowing was carried out on October 10-15. As a result of the study, it was found that in the third decade of April, all winter wheats gave friendly shoots and then grew and developed similarly to spring wheats. The crops were harvested in the third decade of August; grain moisture content was 12-14%. Grain yield averaged 48.1-51.6 c/ha over the four research years, which is 9.7-13.2 c/ha higher than the standard 'Omsk 3'. Grain quality met the requirements of the State Standard (GOST) for valuable wheat. Profitability of spring wheat cultivation in the region is 15-20%; this index amounted to 77.5-81.0% for the studied winter wheat varieties sown in early winter. To cultivate such winter wheats as 'Omsk 3', 'Moskovskaya 39', 'Grom', 'Rostovchanka' in the conditions of the forest-steppe zone of the Tyumen region it is advisable to use winter sowing on October 10-15.

Russian. Подзимний посев озимых может рассматриваться как один из резервов увеличения производства зерна в Сибири. По данным ученых и многолетней практике производства установлено, что озимые сорта пшеницы при посеве 20-25 августа в лесостепной зоне Тюменской области обычно плохо перезимовывают. Поэтому в 2019-2022 гг. на опытном поле ГАУ Северного Зауралья исследовали влияние подзимнего посева на урожайность и качество зерна озимых сортов пшеницы Московская 39, Гром, Ростовчанка. За стандарт взят озимый сорт Омская 3 сибирской селекции. Посев проведен 10-15 октября. Установлено, что в третьей декаде апреля озимые сорта дали дружные всходы и далее росли, развивались аналогично яровым сортам. Уборка проведена в третьей декаде августа при влажности зерна 12-14%. Урожайность зерна в среднем за четыре года исследований составила 48,1-51,6 ц/га, что на 9,7-13,2 ц/га выше стандартного сорта Омская 3. Зерно по качеству отвечало требованиям ГОСТ на ценную пшеницу. При рентабельности возделывания яровой пшеницы в области 15-20% у изучаемых озимых сортов в подзимнем посеве она составила 77,5-81,0%. Сделан вывод, что в условиях лесостепной зоны Тюменской области для производства озимых сортов пшеницы Омская 3, Московская 39, Гром, Ростовчанка целесообразно использовать подзимний посев 10-15 октября.
