Based on specific morphological characteristics, we present the second record of the species Hylonycterus underwoodi Thomas, 1903 (Phyllostomidae: Glossophaginae) in the eastern zone of the Republic of Panama, presenting a new locality of report as a habitat site in the Isthmus. This report is obtained through the research project on the biodiversity of the Mamoní Valley Reserve.
