Clinical blood parameters dynamics during the estructive cycle in different breeds donor heifers | Динамика клинических показателей крови в течение полового цикла у телок-доноров различных пород

Monitoring of clinical blood parameters of cattle females is of interest in the process of conducting a series of Ovum Pick-Up (OPU) sessions to control the health status and possible optimization of the donor cow using regime. The aim of the work was to study the features of clinical blood parameters during the estrous cycle in Sychev and Kholmogor heifers in comparison with the Holstein Black-and-White breed. The studies were conducted at the experimental farm of the L.K. Ernst Federal Research Center for Animal Husbandry on 1.5-to 2-year-old Sychev (n=8), Kholmogory (n=7) and Holstein Black-and-White (n=9) heifers under the same feeding and housing conditions. On the day the animals entered estrus (day 0) and at the diestrus stage (days 7 and 14 of the estrous cycle), blood was sampled, and clinical parameters were determined. The maximum number of erythrocytes, hemoglobin content and hematocrit were observed in the blood of all animals on the day of onset of estrus, and the dynamics of the decrease in values during the estrous cycle were monitored. On day 0 of the cycle, higher values of the number of erythrocytes (the difference was 0.98 and 0.57x10E12/L, P less 0.01), hemoglobin content (the difference was 22.44 and 18.73 g/L, P less 0.01) and hematocrit (the difference was 6.77 and 3.72%, P less 0.01) were observed in the blood of the Sychev and Kholmogory breeds, and in the luteal phase — hemoglobin (the difference was 15.22, 4.79 g/L and 9, 4.86 g/L, P less 0.01 and P less 0.05) was higher compared to the analogues of the Holstein breed. On day 0 of the cycle, among the heifer groups, the leukocyte content was minimal in the blood of the Sychev breed (5.31 x 10E9/L), on the 7th day of the cycle — maximal in the Kholmogory breed (6.5 x 10E9/L). The content of different types of leukocytes differed between the groups on days 0 and 7 of the cycle. The data should be considered when monitoring the clinical condition of donors during OPU sessions to ensure long-term use of animals.

Мониторинг клинических показателей крови самок крупного рогатого скота представляет интерес в процессе проведения серии сеансов прижизненного извлечения ооцитов (OPU) для контроля статуса здоровья и возможной оптимизации режима их использования в качестве доноров. Цель работы заключалась в изучении особенностей клинических показателей крови в течение полового цикла у телок сычевской (n=8) и холмогорской (n=7) пород в сравнении с голштинской породой черно-пестрой масти. Исследования проводили на экспериментальной ферме ФГБНУ ФИЦ ВИЖ им. Л.К. Эрнста в одинаковых условиях кормления и содержания животных. В день прихода телок в охоту (день 0) и на стадии диэструса (7-й и 14-й дни полового цикла) у них брали кровь и определяли ее клинические показатели. В крови всех животных отмечались максимальные количество эритроцитов, содержание гемоглобина и гематокрит в день прихода в охоту и прослеживалась динамика снижения этих значений в течение полового цикла. В день 0 цикла в крови телок сычевской и холмогорской пород наблюдались более высокие уровни эритроцитов (разница 0,98 и 0,57*10E12/л; P меньше 0,01), гемоглобина (разница 22,44 и 18,73 г/л; P меньше 0,01) и гематокрит (разница 6,77 и 3,72%; P меньше 0,01), в лютеальной фазе содержание гемоглобина (разница 15,22, 4,79 г/л и 9, 4,86 г/л; P меньше 0,01 и P меньше 0,05) было выше по сравнению с аналогами голштинской породы. В день 0 цикла количество лейкоцитов было минимальное в крови телок сычевской породы (5,31 x 10 9/л), на 7-й день цикла — максимальное у особей холмогорской породы (6,5x10E9/л). Содержание различных типов лейкоцитов различалось между группами в 0-й и 7-й дни цикла. Полученные данные необходимо учитывать при проведении мониторинга клинического состояния доноров во время сеансов OPU для обеспечения продолжительного использования животных.
