《野生动物保护法》颁布实施后,各地根据《野生动物保护法》的要求,正在制定地方性配套法规,并努力贯彻法中的各项规定。在制定和贯彻过程中,不少地方提出索要《中华人民共和国政府和澳大利亚政府保护候鸟及其栖息环境的协定》和其他有关国际条约的文本。现将《中华人民共和国政府和澳大利亚政府保护候鸟及其栖息环境的协定》刊出,以便各地在制定地方性配套法规时参考,并与《野生动物保护法》一并贯彻执行。
