[ES] Se comentan los principales temas tratados por la bibliografía sobre bancales en la montaña mediterránea: Su origen espacial y temporal, los diferentes tipos de bancales, el uso tradicional y actual de las laderas abancaladas y la evolución geomorfológica durante el uso y tras el abandono.

The mostcommon subjects in the literature on agricultural terraces are reviewed, their temporal and spatial origin, classification, the traditional and present-day management of the terraced slopes and the geomorphological evolution of them both during the working and after the abandonment.

On étudie les thèmes les plus importants traites par la bibliographie sur les terrasses de culture dans la montagne méditerranéenne: L'origine spatiale et temporelle, les différents types de terrasses de culture, l'utilisation traditionnelle et actuelle des versants en terrasses et l'évolution géomorphologique pendant l'utilisation et après l'abandon.
