The horse, and in particular its breeding, have undoubtedly an important role to play in the economic development of the farms while satisfying the environmental and social requirements which are imposed to them. The text below proposes some elements on this subject, on the one hand starting from bibliographical elements, on the other hand starting from a first study on the breeding of draught horses in the farms of Auvergne and finally starting from tracks which remain to be developed.
