As in nearly all enterprises upper total production limits have been reached, agriculture is increasingly looking for niche products. In addition to industrial large-scale stores, it is important from an agricultural viewpoint, to have the total production process on the farm, otherwise large amounts of revenue go to wholesale and intermediate trade. Because of this, new buildings for storing crops are being built on farms or on nearby co-operatives, whereby a steady increase in the amount of construction costs for heat insulation and technical equipment can be observed. Also, decisive reasons for increasing building standardization are discussed.
