Floristic sight, meadow productivity and botanical composition changes before and after warm period flood and biological-economic efficiency of resowing and fertilizing were determined. Main conclusion: when the duration of flood becomes longer, sward quality and productivity also fertilizing efficiency decrease in Hapli-Umbric Fluvisol, and importance of resowing increases. Soil moisture regime is worse in shallow than in deep peat soil. Recommendations: flooded summer polders should be reconstructed into non-flooded; areas, where surface altitude is below sea-level, must “be left to the nature”; thin meadows should be resown and fertilized with phosphorus and potassium fertilizers annually, and thick natural swards should be fertilized without resowing.
