Prosta metoda określania wysokości drzewostanu według wzoru Loreya

Polish. Tematem pracy jest sprawdzenie na szerszym materiale badawczym nowej metody obliczania wysokości drzewostanu według wzoru Loreya opisanej przez Rutkowskiego [3] oraz porównanie wyników z rezultatami uzyskanymi w wymienionej pracy. Ma to na celu udzielenie odpowiedzi na pytanie, czy i w jakim stopniu wyniki uzyskane z badań ograniczonych do stosunkowo niewielkiej liczby spostrzeżeń potwierdzą się w przypadku liczniejszych obserwacji.

English. Checking new method of determinig the height of a treestand according to Lorey on a wider research material constitutes the subject of this paper (3), and a comparison of the results obtained with the presented in the paper (3). It pertmitted to answer the question whether and in what degree the results obtained in investigations limited to a relatively small number of observations are confirmed in the case of more numerous observations. Lorey's method of estimating the height of treestand described in the paper (3) is confirmed on a wider investigation material. The linear character of dependence of expression A from the interval of height Lh, and the relative coeefficients of function of first degree, determined in this paper do not differ in a marked way from the results established in the work (3). Because of the wider investigation material used in this work and because of the greater division of tolerance deterimined by the mean error of approximation equal 2,0, it is better to apply in the management practice the results of this work presented in table No.1.
