Development of effective measures to combat harmful rodents.

The control of rodents is a complex of extermination measures leading to the extermination of rodents or the reduction of their pipulation. Under conditions of expected global warming, the ecological threat and importance of rodents as vectors of many diseases is exacerbated. The damage caused by rodents is substantial worldwide, so the development of effective measures to kill them is urgent. Based on the great demand for highly effective pest control agents – food baits, scientific research has been conducted to find an effective composition of food-based baits that are toxic to rodents - mice and rats. The aim of the research was to perfect the food-based toxic bait recipe as a result of the use of food production waste, improving their edibility and other properties. Among the animals under observation, in the experimental variant, where the new food-based toxic bait was used, the amount of bait eaten, both daily and during the entire trial period, was twice high.
