Georgian shepherd.

In the present article, the origin, general characterization, and general genetic features of the Georgian shepherd, also known as Georgian Mountain Dog, which was directly formed in the conditions of Georgia, are presented. The features of its care, storage and nutrition ate covered, as well as the targeted future plans regarding the standard developed by the Federation of Cynologists of Georgia (FCG) and published on June 1, 2000 to recognize the shepherd as a Georgian breed.
