Participación social en la construcción de un material educativo para fortalecer el ejercicio de los comités de alimentación escolar

RESUMEN: El Comité de Alimentación Escolar (CAE) es el principal mecanismo de control ciudadano al Programa de Alimentación Escolar (PAE), sin embargo, sus actividades no se ejecutan de manera participativa, pues los actores sociales que lo conforman no han sido reconocidos como un grupo capaz de contribuir en la elaboración de estrategias de educación, por esto, se tiene el objetivo de comprender el modo en que los actores sociales del PAE participan en el programa mediante la construcción participativa de un material educativo orientado a fortalecer el ejercicio de los CAE. Metodología: Se escogió un colegio rural en Bogotá. Se empleó el diálogo de saberes como estrategia, bajo la lógica de la investigación participativa y la pedagogía de Freire. Además, se tuvo en cuenta la sistematización de experiencias como método para el análisis de la información y la construcción del árbol de problemas y de objetivos como base para la construcción del producto educativo. Resultados: En el colegio hay escasa cultura de participación social que limita el adecuado ejercicio del CAE; La principal problemática fue un CAE con poca participación real, causado, de manera general, por la poca interacción y motivación de los integrantes; y el acompañamiento investigativo permitió la construcción participativa de un video educativo. Conclusión: La participación de los miembros del colegio requirió de un proceso de interpretación detallado de las dinámicas interinstitucionales para definir estrategias particulares y efectivas que respondieran a los objetivos planteados. Se evidenció voluntad y sentido crítico de quienes contribuyeron en la construcción del video.

ABSTRACT: The School Feeding Committee (SFC) is the main mechanism of citizen control of the School Feeding Program (SFP), however, its activities are not carried out in a participatory manner, since the social actors that make it up have not been recognized as a group capable of contributing to the development of educational strategies, therefore, the objective is to understand the way in which the social actors of the SFP participate in the program through the participatory construction of educational material aimed at strengthening the exercise of the SFC. Methodology: A rural school in Bogotá was chosen. The dialogue of knowledge was used as a strategy, under the logic of participatory research and Freire's pedagogy. In addition, the systematization of experiences was considered as a method for the analysis of information and the construction of the tree of problems and objectives as a basis for the construction of the educational product. Results: In the school there is little culture of social participation that limits the proper function of the SFC; The main problem was a SFC with little real participation, caused, in general, by the little interaction and motivation of the members; and the research accompaniment allowed the participatory construction of an educational video. Conclusion: The participation of the members of the school required a detailed process of interpretation of the inter-institutional dynamics to define particular and effective strategies that responded to the objectives set. The will and critical sense of those who contributed to the construction of the video was evident.
