Cartography and development : impact on the implementation of the Lagos plan of action

The present report analyses through the recommendation of the actions plane of Lagos the contribution of mapping and its impact on social and economic development of Africa it makes it outstanding that the present situation of cartography in African is a stopping factor for this development and we recommend to set up a dynamic machinery for the geographical information sector in African.
