The General' Assembly at its 25th session decided to convene a Special, International Conference of UNIDO at the highest possible level of governmental, representation, to be held in Vienna from 1-8 June 1971 following the fifth session of the Industrial Development Board, in accordance with the appropriate provisions of IDB resolution 29(IV). The provisional agenda of the Conference is Long-range strategy and orientation of UNIDO's activities, including the Organization role in the Second Development Decade and the transfer and adaptation of technology for the industrial development of the development of the developing countries. Finally, the Committee, taking into account the very short duration of the Conference, recommended the adoption of a certain number of procedural measures aimed at expediting the proceedings of the Conference.
