Utilizarea germoplasmei dentiformis a grupelor heterotice iodent;BSSS-B37 și lancaster în ameliora rea porumbului timpuriu

The improvement of Northern American Dent maize from germplasm groups Iodent, BSSS-B37 and Lancaster is presented in this article. Selfing in recombinant populations of two-parent hybrids A x B – 24.2%, related crosses A x A1 – 56.4% and backrosses BC1 – 19.4% are the main types of start breeding material at prezent. For the last 4 years inbred lines from operational colection involved 48,5 % of Iodent germplasm, 14.5% of BSSS-B37 heterotic group and 7.9% of Lancaster germplasm. The heterotic paterns Iodent x Euroflint and Iodent x BSSSB37 are the most use full crossing variants for development of hybrids FAO160-220 for northern areas.
