Prophylaxis and non-invasive treatment in hens (gallus gallus domesticus) infested with ec-toparasites from the central area of the Republic of Moldova

Ectostop preparation – P 5%, administered to infested hens (Gallus gallus domesticus), has a high therapeutic efficacy (approx. 100%)against various species of ectoparasites: malophages (Cuclotogaster heterographus, Lipeurus caponis, Goniocotes gallinae, Goniocotes maculatus, Menopon gallinae, Goniodes dissimilis, Eomenacanthus stramineus, Menacanthus cornutus, Menacanthus pallidulus), fleas (Ceratophylus gallinae, Ceratophylus hirundinis) and gamasid mites (Dermanyssus gallinae, Dermanyssus hirundinis). For the treatment of infested hens with ectoparasitesthe spraying method was used in two rounds, with an interval of 14 days, in a dose of 50 ml per bird, and for prophylactic purposes - in a single round that ensures recovery and prevention of their infestation. The preparation is not toxic for the animal body,and there are no restrictions on the use of products and by-products.
