Tomato analyzer: una herramienta útil para la caracterización fenotípica del fruto del tomate en el programa de mejora genética de la EPSO-UMH

En este trabajo se ha utilizado el programa informático Tomato Analyzer para evaluar varios parámetros de interés relacionadas con la forma de los frutos. Se han estudiado los frutos de líneas de mejora de tomate Muchamiel y De la pera, con resistencias a virus, obtenidas en el Programa de Mejora de la EPSO-UMH. Con los resultados de este trabajo, y a falta de repetir o ampliar el estudio con otras líneas se puede afirmar que en las líneas De la Pera los parámetros mejor correlacionados con la forma típica De la pera serían PAM y Ov, mientras que con la punta en el extremo apical sería DAm, mientras que en las líneas Muchamiel, los parámetros mejor correlacionados con la Altura de hombros serían Ellip y SH, mientras que con la forma típica Muchamiel sería FSI I, FSI II, CFSI y Circ.
Show more [+] Less [-]In this work, the Tomato Analyzer software program has been used to evaluate various parameters of interest related to the shape of the fruits. The fruits of tomato breeding lines Muchamiel and De la pera have been studied, with virus resistance, obtained in the EPSO-UMH Breeding Program. With the results of this work, and in the absence of repeating or extending the study with other lines, it can be affirmed that in the De la Pera lines the parameters better correlated with the typical bell shape would be PAM and Ov, while with the Distal end Protrusion would be DAm. In the Muchamiel lines, the parameters best correlated with the Shoulder Height would be Ellip and SH, while with the typical Muchamiel shape it would be FSI I, FSI II, CFSI and Circ.
