Gentianella hispanica López Udias, Fabregat & Renob., a new species from a few localities in the Sierras of Albarracín and Zafrilla, in the center of Spain (Cuenca, Guadalajara and Teruel provinces), is described. Its morphology and ecology are described and compared to those of the two taxa believed to be the closest to it, G. ramosa (Hegetschw.) Holub, from the Alps, and G. bulgarica (Velen.) Holub, from eastern Europe. A latin description and diagnosis as well as original iconography are provided.

Se describe Gentianella hispanica López Udias, Fabregat & Renob., una nueva especie procedente de unas pocas localidades en las Sierras de Albarracín y de Zafrilla, en el centro de la Península Ibérica. Además de la diagnosis, se describen su morfología y ecología, y se aporta una iconografía original. El nuevo taxon se compara con las especies próximas, G. ramosa (Hegetschw.) Holub y G. bulgarica (Velen.) Holub.
