Ekosistem mangrove merupakan komunitas vegetasi pantai tropis dan sub tropis yang didominasi oleh beberapa jenis pohon mangrove yang mampu tumbuh dan berkembang pada daerah pasang surut pantai berlumpur. Ekowisata merupakan salah satu pemanfaatan kawasan pesisir secara berkelanjutan. Ekowisata hutan mangrove sejalan dengan upaya pelestarian kawasan pesisir dengan langkah konservasi ekosistem hutan secara nyata. Penilaian kawasan ekowisata dapat dilakukan menggunakan Travel Cost Method, yaitu besarnya biaya yang dikeluarkan pengunjung selama melakukan wisata untuk memperkirakan nilai ekonomi sumberdaya alam dan lingkungan ekowisata. Tujuan dari penelitian ini, yaitu mengetahui nilai ekonomi kawasan ekowisata mangrove Tunggulsari, Tayu, Pati menggunakan Travel Cost Method (TCM) dan Analisis WTP (Willingness To Pay). Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini mengacu pada metode deskriptif eksploratif dengan melakukan survey kepada pengunjung. Hasil yang didapatkan adalah nilai ekonomi Ekowisata Mangrove Tunggulsari sebesar Rp.8.746.781.706,00/tahun. Nilai ekonomi tersebut diperoleh dengan mengalikan rata-rata biaya individu responden yang dikeluarkan selama melakukan kunjungan yaitu sebesar Rp.109.778,00 dengan jumlah pengunjung, yang didapatkan dari data tahun 2021 sebesar 79.677 pengunjung, sedangkan nilai WTP berdasarkan tiket masuk adalah Rp.5.000,00. The mangrove ecosystem is a tropical and sub-tropical coastal vegetation community which is dominated by several types of mangrove trees that are able to grow and develop in muddy coastal tidal areas. Ecotourism is one of the sustainable use of coastal areas. Mangrove forest ecotourism is in line with efforts to preserve coastal areas with real forest ecosystem conservation measures. The assessment of ecotourism areas can be carried out using the Travel Cost Method, which is the amount of costs incurred by visitors during tourism to estimate the economic value of natural resources and the ecotourism environment. This study aims to determine the economic value of the mangrove ecotourism area of Tunggulsari, Tayu, Pati using the Travel Cost Method (TCM) and WTP (Willingness To Pay) analysis. The method used in this study refers to the descriptive exploratory method by conducting a survey to visitors. The results obtained are the economic value of the Tunggulsari Mangrove Ecotourism of Rp.8,746,781,706,00/year. The economic value is obtained by multiplying the average individual respondent's expenses incurred during the visit, which is Rp.109,778.00 with the number of visitors, which is obtained from the 2021 data of 79,677 visitors, while the WTP value based on the entrance ticket is Rp.5,000.00.
