The Effects of Different Sowing Times on Straw Yield and Straw Quality of Buckwheat (Fagopyrum esculentum Moench.) | Farklı Ekim Zamanlarının Karabuğdayın Kes Verimi ve Kes Kalitesi Üzerine Etkileri

English. This study was carried out in order to determine the yield and quality of the remaining straw after seed harvest of the buckwheat plant, which was planted at different times, in terms of animal nutrition. The study was established in four different sowing times, 20 April (first sowing), 30 April (second sowing), 10 May (third sowing), and 20 May 2021 (fourth sowing) in the ecological conditions of Bingöl province. The study was carried out in a randomized block design with three replications. In the study, properties such as plant height, biological yield, straw yield, crude protein, ADF, NDF, digestible dry matter, relative feed value, phosphorus, potassium, calcium and magnesium were investigated. The highest plant height, biological yield and straw yield were obtained from the second sowing time (April 30). The effect of sowing time on crude protein, ADF, NDF, digestible dry matter and relative feed value was found to be statistically insignificant. In terms of straw yield and quality, it was concluded that the second sowing time (30 April 2021) is the ideal sowing time in Bingöl province ecological conditions.

Farklı zamanlarda ekimi yapılan karabuğday bitkisinin tohumu alındıktan sonra geriye kalan kesinin (samanının) hayvan besleme açısından verim ve kalitesini belirlemek amacıyla bu çalışma yürütülmüştür. Çalışma Bingöl ili ekolojik koşullarında 20 Nisan (birinci ekim), 30 Nisan (ikinci ekim), 10 Mayıs (üçüncü ekim) ve 20 Mayıs 2021 (dördüncü ekim) tarihlerinde olmak üzere dört farklı ekim zamanı şeklinde ve tesadüf blokları deneme desenine göre üç tekerrürlü olarak kurulmuştur. Çalışmada bitki boyu, biyolojik verim, kes verimi ve kese ait ham protein, ADF, NDF, sindirilebilir kuru madde, nispi yem değeri, fosfor, potasyum, kalsiyum ve magnezyum gibi özellikler incelenmiştir. En yüksek bitki boyu, biyolojik verim ve kes verimi ikinci ekim zamanından (30 Nisan) elde edilmiştir. Ekim zamanlarının ham protein, ADF, NDF, sindirilebilir kuru madde ve nispi yem değeri üzerindeki etkisi istatistiksel olarak önemsiz bulunmuştur. Kes verimi ve kalitesi açısından Bingöl ili ekolojik koşullarında ikinci ekim zamanının (30 Nisan 2021) ideal ekim zamanı olduğu sonucuna varılmıştır.
