The role of forage grasses in maintaining biological diversity of agrocenosis and soils | Роль кормовых трав в поддержании биологического разнообразия агроценозов и почвы

The phytosanitary condition, microbiological activity and phytotoxicity in the soil, species abundance and seasonal dynamics of ground beetles in the perennial agrocenosis of Eastern galega (Galega orientalis Lam.) located in the experimental fields of the Siberian Research Institute of Forage in the Novosibirsk Region were studied. Galega was sown in 1991. The phytosanitary condition of the soil was analyzed in 2023-2024 using the conventional phytopathological and microbiological methods; insect counts were made in 2014-2016, 2018 and 2022 using soil traps. Bipolaris sorokiniana is the main causative agent of root rot in cereal crops. The soil population of it in galega agrocenosis, was at a low level; and pathogenic micromycetes of the genus Pythium were not observed. High microbiological activity in the soil was noted throughout the growing season, with a stable number of cellulolytic microorganisms and bacteria consuming organic forms of nitrogen. Phytotoxicity in the soil was not detected in the galega agrocenosis. The population of ground beetles consisted of 53 species from 16 genera. The genera Amara, Harpalus and the genus Pterostichus were rich in species abundance. The dominant species of ground beetles were representatives of the Zoophages class: Poecilus versicolor, Carabus regalis, from the Myxophytophages class – Harpalus rufipes. The nature of the activity of ground beetles in the agrocenosis of galega was wave-like with an increasing peak in the number of dominant species at the end of June, a continuing peak in July and declining in August. The role of Eastern galega in maintaining the ecological balance between beneficial and harmful microorganisms in the soil and attracting a fairly large number of zoophagic ground beetles, which contribute to the optimization of the phytosanitary condition, primarily for ground phytophages, has been proven. This is an important factor for the sustainable development of agroecosystems and obtaining high yields of forage crops.

Изучено фитосанитарное состояние, микробиологическая активность и фитотоксичность почвы, видовое обилие и сезонная динамика жужелиц в многолетнем агроценозе галеги восточной (Galega orientalis Lam.), размещенном на опытных полях Сибирского НИИ кормов в Новосибирской области. Посев галеги состоялся в 1991 г.. Анализ фитосанитарног состояния почвы проводили в 2023-2024 гг. по общепринятым фитопатологическим и микробиологическим методам, учет насекомых проводили в 2014-2016, 2018 и 2022 гг. методом почвенных ловушек. Заселенность почвы в агроценозе галеги Bipolaris sorokiniana - основным возбудителем корневых гнилей злаковых культур - была на низком уровне, а патогенными микромицетами рода Pythium не наблюдалась. Отмечена высокая микробиологическая активность почвы на протяжении всего вегетационного периода, со стабильной численностью целлюллозолитических микроорганизмов и бактерий, потребляющих органические формы азота. Фитотоксичность почвы в агроценозе галеги не выявлена. Население жужелиц состояло из 53 видов из 16 родов. Богатыми по видовому обилию были роды Amara, Harpalus и род Pterostichus. Доминирующими видами жужелиц были представители из класса Зоофагов: Poecilus versicolor, Carabus regalis, из класса Миксофитофагов – Harpalus rufipes. Активность жужелиц в агроценозе галеги носила волнообразный характер с нарастающим пиком численности доминирующих видов в конце июня, продолжающимся пиком в июле и спадом в августе. Доказана роль галеги восточной в поддержании экологического баланса между полезными и вредными микроорганизмами в почве, и привлечением достаточно обширного состава жужелиц – зоофагов, способствующих оптимизации фитосанитарного состояния, в первую очередь, по напочвенным фитофагам. Это является важным условием устойчивого развития агроэкосистем и получения высоких урожаев кормовых культур.
