Rendimiento inicial de líneas de piñón (Jatropha curcas L.) bajo dos métodos de siembra | Initial yield of piñón (Jatropha curcas L.) lines under two methods of sowing | La Técnica (15):46-56

Para identificar los materiales mejores, por rendimiento de semilla y aceite, en la Estación Experimental Portoviejo del INIAP fueron evaluadas las líneas de piñón CP037, CP041, CP052, CP054, CP060, CP118, CP120, CP121 y CP122 con los métodos de propagación por semilla y estacas. Se registró la información de altura de planta, número de ramas, frutos por planta, peso de 100 semillas, contenido de aceite, rendimiento de grano por planta y por hectárea, inicio de floración y cosecha. Las plantas provenientes de estacas fueron más precoces a inicio de floración (50,07 días) y rindieron 387,74 g de semilla por planta (969,36 kg/ha) frente a las que procedieron de semillas (floración a 82,73 días) y producción de 214,82 gramos por planta (537,05 kg/ha). El mayor rendimiento de semilla a los 12 meses después del trasplante se logró con las líneas CP041 y CP054, sembradas por estaca con 1511,45 y 1413,05 kg/ha, respectivamente.

To identify the best materials for seed and oil yield, in the experimental station Portoviejo of INIAP, pinion lines: CP037, CP041, CP052, CP054, CP060, CP118, CP120, CP121 and CP122 were evaluated with the propagation of seeds and cuttings methods. Data about plant height, number of branches, fruit per plant, 100 seed weight, oil content, grain yield in grams per plant, and per hectare, flowering and harvest beginning, were registered. The plants from cuttings were earlier to flowering beginning (50.07 days) and yielded 387,74 g of seed per plant (969,36 kg / ha) compared to those from seed (flowering to 82.73 days) and production of 214,82 g per plant (537,05 kg/ha). The higher seed yield at 12 months after transplantation was achieved with the lines CP041 and CP054 planted by cuttings with 1511,45 and 1413,05 kg/ha, respectively.
