The dataset was provided by the Dam Department of the Water Authority of Jordan (WAJ). The database was originally in Arab and was translated in english in order to be compared with other datasets. The database enlists 363 sites related to Jordan Valley Authority (JVA) interventions, divided in three categories: dams, tanks and ponds. The dataset includes also some notes form ICARDA-UNIFI, that tried to validate the data using satelite images during 2017.
