English. A correlation has been established between the frequency of spleen pathologies of various etiologies and age, and a breed predisposition to the development of splenopathy in dogs has been determined. The group of dogs aged 5 to 11 years turned out to be the most vulnerable, while cases of diseases in puppies were extremely rare. We have assigned dogs of the following breeds to the risk group: Boxer, Bernese Mountain Dog, Poodle, Labrador and German Shepherd. In this group, up to 57.8% of all cases of splenopathy were detected, including hemangiosarcoma, the most common tumor diagnosed in dogs aged 8 to 13 years (75% of all splenic neoplasms). We have not identified any sexual predisposition to the development of splenopathies.

Наиболее уязвимой оказалась группа собак в возрасте от 5 до 11 лет, тогда как случаи заболеваний у щенков фиксировали крайне редко. К группе риска отнесены собаки таких пород, как боксер, бернский зенненхунд, пудель, лабрадор и немецкая овчарка. В данной группе обнаружили до 57,8 % всех случаев спленопатий, включая гемангиосаркому, опухоль, наиболее часто диагностируемую у собак в возрасте от 8 до 13 лет (75 % от всех неоплазий селезенки). Половой предрасположенности к развитию спленопатий не выявлено.
