This panel underscored that agricultural trade must evolve to reflect today’s realities, including climate shocks, food insecurity, and shifting geopolitical alliances. Panelists called for a more integrated and inclusive trade architecture in the Americas, supported by modernization of infrastructure and policies. With the right strategies and institutional leadership, the region can emerge as a unified global agri-food leader, resilient and responsive to the needs of its people and the planet.
