English. The impressive successes achieved by Brazil in the development of the agro-industrial sector require comprehensive analyzing and understanding. In 2024, the country became one of the ten largest economies in the world. The country's emergence as a world leader in the production and export of agro-food products was due to the Development Strategy of the entire economic complex of the country and, first of all, its agricultural component. Modernization of agriculture was facilitated by institutional transformations that were carried out in the 80-90-s of the XX century. They concerned recovering the financial situation, improving the political system, creating modern economic institutions, social measures that allowed the population to escape poverty and form a civilized labor market, stimulate demand. The steps taken have contributed to the revival of the economy and the growth of business activity. In these conditions, Brazilian agribusiness responded quickly by investing in the modernization and industrialization of the agricultural sector. The agro-industrial sector became the object of large-scale state investments in the development of agrarian science and education, providing a basis for the production growth of the products of export oriented industries. Embrapa Scientific Corporation affiliated with the Brazilian Ministry of Agriculture and funded by the state is successfully operating in the country. The Corporation's goal is to ensure the sustainable development of the entire agricultural sector. The introduction of innovations in the agricultural sector has allowed Brazil to achieve food independence.

Russian. Впечатляющие успехи, достигнутые Бразилией в резком развитии агропромышленного комплекса, требуют всестороннего анализа и осмысления. В 2024 г. страна вошла в десятку крупнейших экономик мира. Выход страны на передовые позиции в мире по производству и экспорту агропродовольственной продукции был обусловлен разработанной Стратегией развития всего хозяйственного комплекса страны и, в первую очередь, его аграрной составляющей. Модернизации сельского хозяйства способствовали институциональные преобразования, которые были проведены в 80-90-е гг. XX века. Они касались оздоровления финансовой ситуации, совершенствования политической системы, создания современных экономических институтов, мер социального характера, позволивших вывести население из нищеты и сформировать цивилизованный рынок труда, а также стимулировать спрос. Предпринятые шаги способствовали оживлению экономики и росту деловой активности. В этих условиях бразильский агробизнес стремительно отреагировал вложением средств в модернизацию и индустриализацию аграрной сферы. АПК стал объектом крупномасштабных инвестиций государства в развитие аграрной науки и образования, обеспечивая основу роста производства продукции с экспортной направленностью отраслей. В стране успешно работает Научная корпорация Embrapa, аффилированная с Министерством сельского хозяйства Бразилии и финансируемая государством. Цель Корпорации – обеспечить устойчивое развитие всего аграрного сектора. Внедрение инноваций в аграрной сфере позволило Бразилии добиться продовольственной независимости.
