Analysis on agricultural information technology status quo and suggestion for development in China

Introduced the developing status quo of AIT in domestic and overseas. The main directions of research and development in AIT for the future are discussed, such as the application and research of the expert system of intelligent agriculture and virtual agriculture, the application and development of the technology in collecting agriculture macroscopical information which based on 3S integration, and the application of the technology in control of agriculture by using computer or its Internet application or net work. On basis of above mentioned, some ideas are put forward in developing the Agricultural Information Technology.
