PL: Zmiany częstotliwości bicia serca w czasie treningu koni szkółkowych | EN: Heart rate response to training in school riding horses

abstractPL: Systematyczne monitorowanie stanu zdrowia koni podczas treningu jest możliwe dzięki analizie parametrów fizjologicznych. Parametry te są również pomocne w przygotowaniu planu treningowego i ocenie dobrostanu zwierząt. Ich wartości mogą ulec zmianie pod wpływem warunków środowiskowych lub zdrowia koni. Tętno (puls) jest jednym z podstawowych, łatwo mierzalnych parametrów. Dostarcza wielu ważnych informacji o aktualnym stanie organizmu, pracy serca, a nawet samopoczuciu. Celem badań było określenie zmian częstotliwości bicia serca i wpływu warunków środowiskowych na każdym etapie treningu koni szkółkowych klinicznie zdrowych i koni, u których zdiagnozowano nawracającą obturację dróg oddechowych (RAO). Badanie przeprowadzono na 16 koniach. Osiem koni (w tym 4 konie ze zdiagnozowanym RAO) badano w sierpniu 2019 r. Drugą grupę ośmiu koni (w tym 4 konie ze zdiagnozowanym RAO) badano w lutym 2020 r. Każdy koń miał mierzone tętno w trakcie treningu. Treningi trwały przez 45 minut i obejmowały stęp (10 minut), kłus (10 minut), galop (15 minut), stęp (10 minut). Liczba uderzeń serca konia zwiększała się wraz z wydłużaniem się treningu i wzrastaniem tempa chodu. Średnie tętno u konia podczas treningu wynosiło: w stępie x̅ = 55 uderzeń/minutę, w kłusie x̅ = 89 uderzeń/minutę, w galopie x̅ = 120 uderzeń/minutę, a na koniec treningu w stępie wynosiło x̅ = 61 uderzeń/minutę. Ogólna średnia częstotliwość pracy serca podczas treningu wyniosła: x̅ = 81 uderzeń/minutę. Średnie wartości tętna dla grupy klinicznie zdrowych koni podczas treningu wynosiły w: stępie x̅ = 54 uderzenia/minutę, kłusie x̅ = 85 uderzeń/minutę, galopie x̅ = 107 uderzeń/minutę, a na koniec treningu w stępie wynosiło x̅ = 58 uderzeń/minutę. Ogólna średnia częstotliwość pracy serca zdrowych koni podczas treningu wynosi x̅ = 76 uderzeń/minutę. Średnie wartości tętna w poszczególnych chodach dla grupy koni z RAO wynosiły: podczas stępa x̅ = 57 uderzeń/minutę, kłusa x̅ = 93 uderzeń/minutę, w galopie x̅ = 132 uderzeń/minutę, a na koniec treningu w stępie wynosi x̅ = 64 uderzenia/minutę. Ogólna średnia częstotliwość pracy serca koni z RAO podczas treningu wynosi x = 87 uderzeń/minutę. Stwierdzono, że pogoda i stan zdrowia koni mają wpływ na wartości parametrów fizjologicznych. Uzyskane wyniki zostały omówione z innymi wynikami badań dotyczącymi zmian częstotliwości bicia serca konia podczas treningu.

abstractEN: Systematic monitoring of horse health during training is possible by analyzing physiological parameters. These parameters are also helpful in preparing training program and in assessing animal welfare. Their values may change due to environment conditions or horse health factors. Heart rate (pulse) is one of the basic, easily measurable parameter. It provides a lot of important information about the current state of the body, heartbeat and even well-being. The aim of the study was to determine heart rate changes and influence of environmental conditions, at every stage of training in clinically healthy school riding horses and in horses with diagnosed recurrent airway obstruction (RAO). The study was based 16 school riding horses. Eight horses (including 4 horses diagnosed with RAO were tested in August 2019, the second group of eight horses (including 4 horses diagnosed with RAO) were tested in February 2020. Each horse had its measured heart rate during exercises. Each horse was trained for 45 minutes included walk (10 minutes), trot (10 minutes), canter (15 minutes), walk (10 minutes). The number of horse's heartbeats increased with lengthening training and gait pace. The average heart rate of a horse during training was: walk x̅ = 55 beats/minute, trot x̅ = 89 beats/minute, canter x̅ = 120 beats/minute, and at the end of training was x̅ = 61 beats/minute. The overall average heart rate throughout the training was: x̅ = 81 beats/minute. The average heart rate values in gaits for a group of healthy horses during training were: walk x̅ = 54 beats/minute, trot x̅ = 85 beats/minute, canter x̅ = 107 beats/minute, and at the end of training was x̅ = 58 beats/minute. The overall average heart rate of the clinically healthy horses during training was x̅ = 76 beats/minute. The average heart rate values in gaits for a group of horses with RAO were: in walk x̅ = 57 beats/minute, trot x̅ = 93 beats/minute, in canter x̅ = 132 beats/minute, and at the end of training was x̅ = 64 beats/minute. The overall average heart rate of the horses with RAO during training was x̅ = 87 beats/minute. It was found that weather and animal health have a great impact on the values of physiological parameters. The obtained results were discussed with other research results regarding changes in the heartbeat frequency of the horse during the training.
