The article is devoted to the analysis of the status and development prospects of the market for the production of fresh berries in the Republic of Moldova. The article presents the global trends in the production and sale of berries, the main importing and exporting countries are considered, the analysis of berry plantations and the gross harvest is carried out. The authors also studied and characterized the conditions for growing fresh berries in the republic, the main problems of the industry and presented ways to increase the competitiveness of the industry with a focus on the markets of European countries.
