Effects of Water Management Regimes Combined with Soil-customized Fertilizer Management on Yield and Water use Efficiency of Pathum Thani 1 Rice Grown on Samut Prakan Soil Series | ผลของรูปแบบการจัดการน้ำร่วมกับการใส่ปุ๋ยตามค่าวิเคราะห์ดินต่อผลผลิตและประสิทธิภาพการใช้น้ำของข้าวปทุมธานี 1 ที่ปลูกในชุดดินสมุทรปราการ

English. Fertilizer and water management practices in accordance with plant requirements lead to improved productivity and water use efficiency (WUE) of the rice production system. An objective of the present study was to compare paddy yield and yield components as well as WUE of Pathum Thani 1 rice grown on Samut Prakan soil series. A group comparison t-test with 15 replications was used. Two treatments associated with water management practices were as follows; 1) alternate wetting and drying (AWD) and 2) continuous flooding (CF). Fertilizers were applied to both treatments according to the recommendation made by the All-rice1 application. Data associated with yields and yield components were recorded on day 120 after the transplant. Results showed that yields and yield components of the AWD and CF rice did not differ significantly (P>0.05). However, the AWD could save water usage by 20.44% and increase water use efficiency by 21.21% when compared to the CF rice. Thus, a combination of AWD and soil-customized fertilizer management practices is one of the promising practices to improve rice growing productivity and water use efficiency.

Thai. การจัดการปุ๋ยและน้ำที่สอดคล้องกับความต้องการของข้าวเป็นปัจจัยสำคัญที่จะเพิ่มประสิทธิภาพผลิตข้าวและเพิ่มประสิทธิภาพการใช้น้ำ การศึกษานี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อเปรียบเทียบผลผลิต องค์ประกอบผลผลิตและประสิทธิภาพการใช้น้ำของข้าวพันธุ์ปทุมธานี 1 ที่ปลูกในชุดดินสมุทรปราการ วางแผนการทดลองแบบการเปรียบเทียบประชากร 2 กลุ่ม (Group comparison t-test) ทำ 15 ซ้ำ โดยมี 2 สิ่งทดลอง คือ 1) การจัดการน้ำแบบเปียกสลับแห้ง (Alternate wetting and drying, AWD) และ 2) การจัดการน้ำแบบท่วมขังตลอดระยเวลาการปลูก (Continuous flooding, CF) ข้าวทั้ง 2 สิ่งทดลองได้รับการจัดการปุ๋ยเคมีตามคำแนะนำของแอพพลิเคชัน All-rice1 เก็บข้อมูลผลผลิตและองค์ประกอบของผลผลิตข้าวเมื่อข้าวอายุ 120 วันหลังการย้ายปลูก ผลการทดลองพบว่าการจัดการน้ำทั้ง 2 รูปแบบ ไม่มีความแตกต่างทางสถิติต่อการให้ผลผลิตและองค์ประกอบผลผลิตของข้าว อย่างไรก็ตาม ข้าวที่ได้รับการจัดการน้ำแบบ AWD สามารถประหยัดน้ำและมีประสิทธิภาพการใช้น้ำดีกว่าข้าวที่มีการจัดการน้ำแบบ CF เท่ากับ 20.44 และ 21.21 เปอร์เซ็นต์ ตามลำดับ ดังนั้น การจัดการน้ำแบบ AWD ร่วมกับการใส่ปุ๋ยตามคำแนะนำของแอพพลิเคชัน  All-rice1 เป็นแนวทางหนึ่งในการผสมผสานเทคโนโลยีเพื่อช่วยเพิ่มสมรรถนะการผลิตและประสิทธิภาพการใช้น้ำในการทำนา
