English. Aluminium toxicity is an important factor limiting wheat production on acid soils. The purpose of this research was to find mode of inheritance of tolerance to aluminium toxicity and to find new sources of tolerance different from that represented by the Brazilian cultivar BH-1146. Inheritance of tolerance to aluminium toxicity was investigated in the spring wheat cultivars Quality (AUS), and Dong Nong 120 (CHN). The nutrient solution-screening test with 148 μM Al concentration was used. A single gene pair controls tolerance to aluminium toxicity in these cultivars. It represents the same source of tolerance as that found in the spring wheat BH-1146.

Celem badań było określenie sposobu dziedziczenia tolerancji na toksyczne działanie glinu i poszukiwanie źródeł tolerancji innych niż reprezentowany przez brazylijską odmianę pszenicy jarej BH 1146 mającej opisany już wcześniej gen AltBH na chromosomie 4D. Badano sposób dziedziczenia tolerancji na toksyczne działanie glinu w odmianach Quality (AUS) i Dong Nong (CHN). Stwierdzono, że tolerancja na glin uwarunkowana jest jednym genem dominującym podobnym do znanego genu AltBH wcześniej stwierdzonego w brazylijskiej odmianie BH-1146.
