Balanço de nitrogênio em cabras leiteiras alimentadas com diferentes fontes lipídicas.

Resumo: Ao se pressupor que a suplementação de óleos em dietas com reduzida concentração em fibra pode alterar o metabolismo ruminal, avaliou-se no presente estudo o efeito do uso de diferentes fontes lipídicas na dieta de cabras leiteiras sobre o consumo, excreções, balanço e retenção de nitrogênio. Para isso, foram utilizadas oito cabras, não-gestantes e não-lactantes, com peso médio de 51 Kg, fistuladas no rúmen, distribuídas em delineamento em quadrado latino 4x4, em duplicata. Quatro dietas foram comparadas, sendo uma dieta controle e três suplementadas com diferentes fontes de lipídios: óleo de soja, óleo de palmiste e óleo de canola. A suplementação com óleo foi de 2,3% na matéria seca da dieta, totalizando 5% de extrato etéreo na MS. Não houve diferenças significativas (P>0,05) entre as dietas quanto à excreção exógena de nitrogênio, o nitrogênio indigerido e a relação entre nitrogênio urinário exógeno e nitrogênio verdadeiramente digerido. Conclui-se que a suplementação de dietas com as fontes de óleo estudadas, ao nível de 2,3%, não são suficientes para promover alterações no balanço de nitrogênio no animal. [Nitrogen balance in dairy goats fed with different sources of lipids]. Abstract: At supposing that oil supplementation in diets with reduced concentration in fiber may alter ruminal metabolism, it was evaluated in the present study the effect of using different sources of lipids in the diet of dairy goats on intake rate, excretion, balance, and retention of nitrogen. Eight non-pregnant and non-lactating goats, averaging 51 kg, and rumen fistulated were assigned to a 4x4 Latin square design, in duplicate. Four diets were compared, one of them as the control diet and the others supplemented with different sources of lipids, considering their fatty acid profile, namely soybean oil, palm kernel oil, and canola oil. Lipids supplementation contributed with 2.3% totaling 5% of diet dry matter (DM). There were no significant differences (P> 0.05) among diets related to the excretion of exogenous nitrogen, the indigestible nitrogen and the relationship between exogenous urinary nitrogen and truly digested nitrogen. It is concluded that supplementing of diets by using the sources studied, at the level of 2.3% of DM, it is not sufficient to promote alteration on nitrogen balance in goats.
