Recently, people have been more likely to buy low-fat or low-fat dairy products because saturated fat was thought to cause weight gain and increase the risk of heart disease. Moldovan industrial producers also offer a wide range of fat-free products. Thus, we obtain skimmed raw materials from which we produce - drinking skimmed milk, skimmed milk powder, skimmed sour-milk drinks such as kefir and yogurt, as well as skimmed cottage cheese and fat-free curd pastes. The use of skimmed milk as a raw material for the manufacture of other dairy products is an important element of waste-free milk production technology.
