Ecological and technological features of the influence of sowing times on the formation of biometric indicators of Calendula officinalis in the conditions of the Right-Bank Forest-Steppe of Ukraine | Еколого-технологічні особливості впливу строків сівби на формування біометричних показників нагідок лікарських (Calendula officinalis) в умовах Правобережного Лісостепу України

English. Research conducted in the period from 2018 to 2023 highlighted the biological features and feasibility of growing calendula plants (Calendula officinalis) in the conditions of the Right-Bank Forest-Steppe of Ukraine. Varieties in terms of resistance and biological characteristics are an important factor in the appearance of friendly seedlings, the formation of the number and mass of shoots, leaves and inflorescences. Analyzing the influence of sowing dates on the formation of biometric indicators of the plant, the effectiveness of the early spring sowing date, which significantly affects the cellular metabolism of plants in the growing zone, adaptively selected technological techniques to enhance the growth processes of Calendula officinalis, was established. The growth rate of the studied culture increased noticeably from the budding phase to the flowering phase. According to morphometric indicators, the highest plant height was recorded during the early spring sowing period of 15‒18.04 and was 70.0 cm. Biometric indicators were determined by the growth of plant mass and the development of individual parts of aerial organs. The proportions of shoots, leaves and inflorescences changed depending on the process of plant growth and development, the use of innovative agricultural methods and the adaptability of ecosystems. The largest number of leaves, 114.88 per plant, was recorded during early spring sowing on April 15‒18 in Sunny beauty variety. The opposite trend was observed in the change of the growth of stems on one plant, which carry generative organs: in the budding phase their number varied from 7.64 to 11.03 in the control. On average, with an increase in plant height by 10.4 %, the number of inflorescences per plant was 19.12 %, which led to an increase in the mass of inflorescences per plant by 28.6 % and the mass of 1000 seeds to 21.75 %. Research allows us to conclude that in the conditions of the Right-Bank Forest-Steppe of Ukraine, it is possible to grow Calendula officinalis for raw materials of both terry and non-terry baskets, to ensure a wide range of use of the plant raw material base in Ukraine and abroad.

Дослідження, проведені в період з 2018 до 2023 р., підкреслили біологічні особливості та доцільність вирощування рослин нагідок лікарських (Calendula officinalis) в умовах Правобережного Лісостепу України. Сорти за стійкістю та біологічними особливостями є важливим фактором у появі дружних сходів, формуванні кількості та маси пагонів, листків і суцвіть. Аналізуючи вплив строків сівби на формування біометричних показників, встановлено ефективність ранньовесняного строку сівби, що в зоні вирощування значно впливає на клітинний метаболізм рослин, адаптивно підібраних технологічних прийомів для посилення зростання нагідок лікарських. Швидкість росту досліджуваної культури помітно підвищувалася від фази бутонізації до цвітіння. За морфометричними показниками найбільшу висоту рослин відзначено за ранньовесняного строку сівби 15–18.04  ‒ 70,0 см. Біометричні показники визначали за ростом маси рослин та розвитком окремих частин надземних органів. Пропорції пагонів, листків і суцвіть змінювалися залежно від росту і розвитку рослини, використання інноваційних методів землеробства та адаптивності екосистем. Найбільшу кількість листків (114,88 шт. на рослині) відзначено за ранньовесняної сівби 15–18.04 сорту Сонячна красуня (sunny beauty). Протилежну тенденцію спостерігали в зміні приросту стебел на одній рослині, які несуть генеративні органи: у фазі бутонізації їх кількість варіювала в межах від 7,64 до 11,03 на контролі. В середньому із збільшенням висоти рослини на 10,4 % кількість суцвіть з рослини становила 19,12 %,  що привело до збільшення маси суцвіть з однієї рослини на 28,6 % та маси 1000 насінин до 21,75 %. Дослідження дають змогу зробити висновок, що в умовах Правобережного Лісостепу України можна вирощувати нагідки лікарські на сировину як махрових, так і немахрових кошиків для забезпечення в подальшому широкого спектра використання рослинної сировинної бази в Україні та за кордоном.
