Effectiveness of mycorhizal biofertilizers on pepper (Capsicum annuum L. var. Verano 1) yield grown under different substrate moisture conditions | EFECTIVIDAD DE BIOFERTILIZANTES MICORRÍZICOS EN EL RENDIMIENTO DEL PIMIENTO (Capsicum annuum L. var. Verano 1) CULTIVADO EN DIFERENTES CONDICIONES DE HUMEDAD DEL SUSTRATO

English. The application of arbuscular mycorhizal fungiwas evaluated as a biofertilization alternative in organoponicsas well as its effect on pepper yield at different substratemoisture levels. Since the beginning of flowering-fruiting, when20 % of plants had flowers, two irrigation variants were settled,which consisted of applying water when substrate moisturedecreased to 65 and 90 % of the container capacity (Cc). Theinoculations with Glomus hoi-like and Glomus mosseae strainsincreased the yield of pepper fruit weight, compared to thenon-inoculated control, between 12 and 24 % in the treatmentof lower moisture content (65 % Cc) whereas between 10 and20 % in the other of greater water supply (90 % Cc) of thesubstrate. A higher yield was obtained by Glomus mosseae atdifferent substrate moisture levels.

Se evaluó la aplicación de hongos micorrízicosarbusculares como alternativa de biofertilización enorganopónicos y su efecto en el rendimiento del pimiento antediferentes niveles de humedad del sustrato. A partir del iniciode la floración-fructificación, cuando el 20 % de las plantas seencontraban con flores, se establecieron dos variantes deriego, que consistieron en regar cuando la humedad delsustrato descendiera a valores de 65 y 90 % de la capacidad decontenedor (Cc). Las inoculaciones con las cepas Glomus hoi-likey Glomus mosseae incrementaron el rendimiento en la masa delos frutos del pimiento, con respecto al testigo sin inocular,entre 12 y 24 % en el tratamiento de menor contenido de agua(65 % Cc) y entre 10 y 20 % en el de mayor suministro de agua(90 % Cc) del sustrato. Con Glomus mosseae se obtuvo mayorrendimiento ante los diferentes niveles de humedad del sustrato.
