Ordenación agroforestal de una subcuenca periurbana en Ciudad de la Habana

The present work is based on the Hypothesis that it is possible to establish an appropriate balance between the economic use of the existent natural resources and the preservation of the environment in 499.0 ha there is of small catchment El Cacao in the watershed of the River Cojimar. The work you development starting from the integration of six wellknow methodologies and applied previously in the country. As specific objectives they were formulated to know the index of forest covering of the area, to determine the necessity of forest protection and to establish a reforestation proposal and handling; to establish the rational and harmonic use of the agroforestry systems.It was proven that the anthropogenic action is the cause of high grade of present deforestation in the small catchment, the reservoir, cause them permanent, intermittent and dry deforested and erosions are totally, under the current, alone conditions a reduced number of cultivations classifies as productive. It was determined that alone 5.8% of the agroforestry areas of the watershed is of forest use and of them 1.2% woody, the study allowed to conclude that when being carried out recommended stocks the forest areas they will grow until 41.5 distributed % in the following way area forest 9.7%, agroforestry 23.6%, Silvopastoral systems 2.3% and you band protectors 5.9%

Spanish; Castilian. Dentro de la ordenación integral de cuencas hidrográficas, la ordenación agroforestal contribuye decisivamente a conciliar de manera armónica las actividades a ella vinculadas. El presente trabajo se basa en la hipótesis de que es posible establecer un adecuado equilibrio entre el aprovechamiento económico de los recursos naturales existentes y la preservación del me- dio ambiente en las 499 ha de la subcuenca El Cacao en la cuenca hidrográfica del río Cojímar. El trabajo se desarrolló a partir de la integración de seis metodologías conocidas y aplicadas con anterioridad en el país. Como objetivos específicos se formularon conocer el índice de cobertura forestal del área, determinar la necesidad de protección forestal y establecer una propuesta de reforestación y manejo, además de instituir el uso racional y armónico de los sistemas agroforestales. Se comprobó que la acción antrópica es la causa fundamental del alto grado de deforestación presente en la subcuenca. El embalse, los cauces permanentes, intermitentes y secos, están totalmente deforestados y erosionados. En las condiciones actuales solo un reducido número de cultivos clasifican como productivos. Se determinó que solo el 5,8% de las áreas agroforestales de la subcuenca son de uso forestal, y de ellas el 1,2% boscosa. El estudio permitió concluir que al realizarse las acciones recomendadas las áreas forestales crecerán hasta 41,5% distribuidas de la siguiente forma: áreas forestales 9,7%, agroforestales 23,6%, silvopastoriles 2,3% y fajas protectoras 5,9%.
