Analysis of the dendroflora of Tobacco Research Station of the NSC "IZ NAAS" of Ukraine | Аналіз дендрофлори Дослідної станції тютюнництва ННЦ "ІЗ НААН" України

English. Literary sources on the analysis of dendroflora of various Ukrainian and foreign research institutions have been studied. Tree and bush plants growing on the territory of the Tobacco Research Station of the National Research Center "Institute of Agriculture of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences of Ukraine" were examined. The analysis of representatives of the dendroflora of this scientific institution was carried out. It was revealed that the woody plants of the Research Station include representatives of 20 taxonomic groups from the departments of gymnosperms (8 taxa) and angiosperms (12 taxa). The ratio of tree angiosperm species in relation to the total number (6824 units) of plantations is 50.5 % (3446 units), and gymnosperms, respectively, 49.5 % (3378 units). The distribution of woody and bushy plants growing on the territory of Tobacco Research Station was accomplished according to the criteria of drought resistance and winter resistance, in relation to soil fertility and moisture. During the research period, most representatives of dendroflora had high winter hardiness (plants overwintered without damage), and two (Buxus sempervirens L. and Morus alba 'Рendula') had sufficient hardiness. The assessment of drought resistance of woody and shrubby plants made it possible enabled establishing that 18 taxonomic groups of woody and shrubby plants are drought-resistant, and two species are sufficiently drought-resistant. Considering soil moisture, woody and bush plants of the Tobacco Research Station of "IZ NAAN" are divided into the following groups: hygrophytes, mesophytes, mesoxerophytes, xerophytes, and in relation to soil fertility, these plants are divided as follows: eutrophs, mesotrons and oligotrophs. The general condition of tree and shrub plants of the Tobacco Research Station was studied, the high adaptive potential of dendroflora representatives to the sharp change in climatic conditions in recent years in the studied territory was noted and assessed as good. Recommendations for the care of woody and shrubby plants were provided, and selection of an assortment of newly introduced species and forms of woody and shrubby plants was also performed to replenish the dendroflora collection of the tobacco research station.

Ukrainian. Опрацьовано літературні джерела із аналізу дендрофлори різноманітних науково-дослідних установ нашої країни і за кордоном. Досліджено деревні та кущові рослини, які зростають на території Дослідної станції тютюнництва Національного наукового центру "Інститут землеробства Національної академії аграрних наук України". Проведено аналіз представників дендрофлори даної наукової установи. Встановлено, що до складу деревних рослин Дослідної станції входять представники 20 таксономічних груп із відділів голонасінних (8 таксонів) та покритонасінних (12 таксонів). Співвідношення деревних покритонасінних порід по відношенню до загальної кількості (6824 шт.) насаджень становить 50,5 % (3446 шт.), а голонасінних відповідно 49,5 % (3378 шт.). Проведено розподіл деревних і кущових рослин, які зростають на території Дослідної станції тютюнництва за критеріями посухостійкості, зимостійкості, відношенню до родючості та вологості ґрунту. Впродовж періоду досліджень більшість представників дендрофлори мали високу зимостійкість (рослини перезимували без пошкоджень), а два (Buxus sempervirens L. та Morus alba 'Рendula') достатню. Оцінювання посухостійкості деревних і кущових рослин дало можливість встановити, що 18 таксономічних груп деревних і кущових рослин є посухостійкими, а два види – достатньо посухостійкими. За відношенням до вологості ґрунту деревні та кущові рослин Дослідної станції тютюнництва ННЦ "ІЗ НААН" розподілені на наступні групи: гігрофіти, мезофіти, мезоксерофіт, ксерофіти, а за відношенням до родючості ґрунту дані рослини розподілені в такий спосіб: евтрофи, мезотрони і оліготрофи. Досліджено загальний стан деревних і кущових рослин Дослідної станції тютюнництва, відзначено високий адаптивний потенціал представників дендрофлори до різкої зміни кліматичних умов в останні роки на досліджуваній території і оцінено його як добрий. Надано рекомендації з догляду за деревними та кущовими рослинами та проведено підбір асортименту нових інтродукованих видів та форм деревних і кущових рослин для колекційного поповнення дендрофлори дослідної станції тютюнництва.
