Eficacia de fungicidas en el control de mildiu velloso (Pseudoperonospora cubensis Berk & Curt.) en el cultivo de pepino

The objective of the present investigation was to evaluate the control efficacy of fungicides (Metalaxyl+ copper oxychloride, Mancozeb+ metalaxyl, Fosetyl al, Dimethomorph, Difenoconazole) for the control of Downy Mildew (Pseudoperonospora cubensis) in cucumber cultivation. The evaluation was carried out on the Polytechnic campus of the Higher Polytechnic Agricultural School of Manabí "MFL". A DBCA was used with 4 repetitions, 28 days after sowing the first application of the fungicides was made in the six treatments, three applications were made with intervals of 15 days from day 28 to day 58, the variables evaluated were; Incidence, severity, number of fruits per plant, fruit length, fruit diameter and fruit weight. Based on the results obtained, it is concluded that the most effective treatment showed the reduction of the fungus was with the fungicide Mancozeb + Metalaxyl with percentages of 2.69, 12.5 and 16.5% of severity in the three-monitoring carried out, as for the control, the percentage of severity presented values of 6.38; 33% and 76.56%.

El objetivo de la presente investigación fue evaluar la eficacia de control de fungicidas (Metalaxyl+ oxicloruro de cobre, Mancozeb+ metalaxyl, Fosetyl al, Dimetomorph, Difenoconazol) para el control de Mildiu Velloso (Pseudoperonospora cubensis) en el cultivo de pepino. La evaluación se realizó en el campus Politécnico de la Escuela Superior Politécnica Agropecuaria de Manabí “MFL”. Se usó un DBCA con 4 repeticiones, a los 28 días después de la siembra se realizó la primera aplicación de los fungicidas en los seis tratamientos, se realizaron tres aplicaciones con intervalos de 15 días desde el día 28 hasta el día 58, las variables evaluadas fueron; Incidencia, severidad, número de frutos por planta, longitud de fruto, diámetro de fruto y peso de fruto. En base a los resultados obtenidos se concluye que el tratamiento de mejor efectividad mostró ante la disminución del hongo fue con el fungicida Mancozeb + Metalaxyl con porcentajes del 2,69, 12,5 y 16,5 (%) de severidad en los tres monitoreos realizados, en cuanto al testigo el porcentaje de severidad presentó valores del 6,38; 33y 76,56 (%).
