The research purpose is to determine the impact of applied rates of phosphogypsum combined with organic matter on the properties of integrated cover soils, soil productivity, and also to substantiate the economic feasibility of these amendment application for chemical reclamation of irrigated land. The studies were carried out in the Rostov region for 4 years on the integrated cover soils according to the scheme of the experiment, including the application of phosphogypsum (Ph) and such organic matter (OM) as manure at certain rates. The studies were carried out according to generally accepted methods. It has been stated that the phosphogypsum application at 10 t/ha rate contributed to the southern chernozem desolonetzization up to 3% sodium from the total of the soil-absorbing complex and an calcium and magnesium increase to the optimal parameters for this soil. On the solonetz, the content of exchangeable sodium decreased to 9–8% in the variants with 10 t/ha Ph rate. In the variant with 5 t/ha Ph rate, the process of soil desolonetzization proceeded somewhat more slowly, which is associated with an insufficient ameliorant rate for the solonetz. The accumulation of humus to the greatest extent was observed in the variant 10 t/ha Ph + 40 t/ha OM. After 4 years, it amounted to 0.24% on the southern chernozem, and 0.19% on the solonetz. Both soils included in the complex were decompacted, and in the better variant, the southern chernozem density was 1.17 t/m3, and on the solonetz – 1.2 t/m3. The soil properties improvement contributed to the increase in productivity. By the 4th year of the aftereffect of ameliorants, it increased by 73–85% on the southern chernozem and by 69–79% on solonetz compared with the control. The average productivity for 4 years of research on the southern chernozem ranged from 7.18 (5 t/ha Ph + 40 t/ha OM) to 8.03 t grain units/ha (10 t/ha Ph + 40 t/ha OM), and in the control 4.82 t grain units/ha. On the solonetz, respectively, it increased from 6.03 to 6.93 t grain units/ha, in the control – 4.3 t grain units/ha. The application of phosphogypsum with organic matter provides both reclamative and economic effect on solonetz integrated cover soils. | Цель исследования - установить влияние доз фосфогипса в сочетании с органикой на свойства почв комплексного покрова, их продуктивность, а также обосновать экономическую целесообразность их применения для химической мелиорации при орошении. Исследования проводились в Ростовской области в течение 4 лет на почвах комплексного покрова согласно схеме опыта, включающей внесение фосфогипса (Ф) и органики в виде навоза (Н) определенными дозами. Исследования выполнены согласно общепринятым методикам. Установлено, что внесение фосфогипса в дозе 10 т/га способствовало рассолонцеванию чернозема южного до 3% натрия от суммы почвенного поглощающего комплекса и увеличению количества кальция и магния до оптимальных параметров для этой почвы. На солонце содержание обменного натрия уменьшилось до 9–8% в вариантах с дозой 10 т/га Ф. В варианте с дозой 5 т/га Ф процесс рассолонцевания почв протекал несколько медленнее, что связано с недостаточной дозой мелиоранта для солонца. Накопление гумуса в наибольшей степени наблюдалось в варианте 10 т/га Ф + 40 т/га Н. Оно составило после 4 лет на черноземе южном 0,24%, а на солонце – 0,19%. Обе почвы, входящие в комплекс, разуплотнились, и в лучшем варианте плотность сложения чернозема южного составила 1,17 т/м3, а на солонце – 1,20 т/м3. Улучшение свойств почв способствовало увеличению урожайности. К 4-му году последействия мелиорантов она увеличилась на 73–85% на южном черноземе и на 69–79% на солонце по сравнению с контролем. Продуктивность в среднем за 4 года исследований на черноземе южном составила от 7,18 (5 т/га Ф + 40 т/га Н) до 8,03 т з. е./га (10 т/га Ф + 40 т/га Н), а на контроле 4,82 т з. е./га. На солонце соответственно от 6,03 до 6,93 т з. е./га, на контроле – 4,30 т з. е./га. Внесение фосфогипса с органикой обеспечивает как мелиорирующий, так и экономический эффект на солонцовых почвах комплексного покрова.
